I Am Enough
I Am Enough
Breaking Down Teen
Mental Health Stigmas
Hello
My name is Gabrielle and I started the I Am Enough project with the goal of bringing awareness to teen mental health needs in my school and community. What started out as research project for my Girl Scout Silver award grew into a website packed with information and resources for teens to identify when they need help. With the help of my Girl Scout sister London, the message on mental health was able to reach more teens through positive affirmation posters we designed and printed to be displayed around both of our high schools that include this website as a resource for anytime.

This project enabled me to really understand, take action, and provide healthy ways teens can identify, deal with, or ask for help when faced with a mental health issue. I hope you enjoy my site and learn a few new things to help teens or other family members stay mentally healthy.
Project Background
I Am Enough:
Breaking Down Teen Mental Health Stigmas
The I Am Enough project was created to bring awareness to mental health needs for teenagers. Based on personal experience and feedback from friends and family I decided to make mental health the topic for my project. Today teen mental health is not addressed as much as it should be around the world. Everyday teens face mental health issues starting with home and school interactions. However, due to the stigma around mental health people, especially teens, don't understand much about or have access to the right resources to get help. This project is about breaking down those barriers and hopefully helping someone NOW.
